Product overviewPlaneveyor units for cleanroom applications require material selection and dedicated cleaning depending on operating environments (wear, heat, static control, vacuum, etc.) used in the manufacturing of glass substrates and similar components. ATEC CO., LTD. performs assembly and packaging in clean booths and clean benches. Parts are cleaned with pure water using degreasing and dedicated cleaners; resin powder produced during ball processing is removed to the limit.
Series purpose and functionalityThe PVP series is designed for conveying and precise positioning with minimized risk of damaging glass surfaces by selecting appropriate engineering plastics. Compared with conventional plastic-pin supports, the series is lighter and reduces dust generation. Optional dust-suction holes can aspirate fine particles that enter internal cavities (available for 20B types).

Properties of resin- POM (Polyacetal) — General-purpose engineering plastic with high machinability, balanced mechanical properties and continuous use temperature around 80 °C. Sensitive to strong acids; flammable.
- UHMWPE (Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene) — Excellent abrasion resistance (in some cases surpassing stainless steel). Best impact resistance among common plastics; good water resistance. Continuous use temperature around 80 °C.
- PEEK (Polyetheretherketone) — High heat resistance (continuous use up to 150 °C), excellent wear and abrasion resistance, minimal gas emission.
- PI (Polyimide) — High-temperature resin (100% polyimide). Continuous use up to 250 °C; short-term limit up to 450 °C. Excellent wear resistance and chemical resistance to organic solvents, grease and oil.
- D (Dielectric type, antistatic) — Antistatic (black) grades with surface resistivity approximately 10^3–10^7 Ω to address ESD/static; body and small balls use dielectric resin or stainless steel combinations.
