OverviewThe PVXM centering unit is a positioning support that enables fast, precise positioning of workpieces in manufacturing processes. The top plate slides freely through 360° to allow smooth positioning with minimal particle generation. The top plate returns to origin under no load via a magnetic return; models are available with top-plate lock and optional built-in lifting cylinders.
About the centering unitThe unit supports non-flat bottoms and slides 360° under load. Typical mounting uses four or more units to support a workpiece. When the workpiece is pushed by a cylinder, the top plate slides to centre the part; supplying air locks the top plate at the required position. This enables compact positioning solutions suitable for cleanroom production lines (for example LCD manufacturing). Latest PVXM models feature a reduced footprint compared with previous equivalents, improved homing accuracy via a PAT.P mechanism and lower particle generation.
