Orientable centering and spreading unit FCD series

Product overview
Fine adjustment unit for robot hand based on the centering unit (PVXM) structure. The FCD compensates for workpiece misalignment during robot handling and can be mounted in any orientation, including downward or sideways. The top plate slides along the workpiece or the tapered surface of the mating part to correct misalignment. A center-lock mechanism returns the top plate to the original position and locks it by supplying air.

Movement
The top plate slides along the workpiece or the tapered surface of the mating part to compensate for misalignment. Air supply returns the top plate to the original position and locks it. The center-lock enables stable operation during transport. If air supply is not available, internal magnets attract the top plate back toward center; magnet centering may differ slightly from the original position.
