Description
S5-Simulation is a PC-based PLC simulation software designed for program tests. Tests run entirely on the PC and require no additional hardware. The simulator reproduces the instruction set and memory structure of a SIMATIC CPU 945. System commands, floating point calculations and double-word instructions are supported. Extended function blocks (FX), extended data blocks (DX) and extended flags (S) are supported. Timers and counters are extended up to 256 each. Communication with S5 for Windows® can be established directly, via TCP/IP or via a zero-modem cable. Communication with STEP5 is possible via a zero-modem cable.
