Product descriptionIndustrial Machinery Corporation supplies the IMC bar thread cutting machine designed to cut external threads on bars and rods using a tangential chaser or die-head. The workpiece remains stationary while the die-head or chaser rotates, enabling consistent external thread forms including BSW, NPT, UNF, Metric, UNC, ACME and BSF.
Process- Preparation: clean and inspect the bar to ensure straightness and absence of deformities.
- Adjustment: set machine for required thread pitch, diameter and length.
- Thread cutting: clamp component securely; the die-head or chaser rotates around the bar to cut or form the thread.
- Finishing: remove component, deburr and perform quality check.
Key Features- High-speed and precision thread cutting suitable for production runs
- Interchangeable die-heads and chasers to cover a wide range of thread types

- Safety guards and built-in protections
- Low maintenance design and optional portability on some models
- Customization options to meet specific production requirements
Applications- Construction: threaded rods for concrete and structural connections
- Manufacturing: components and bars for machinery and equipment
- General industry: any requirement for consistent external thread cutting on rods and bars
Range of IMC Die-Head1/4" to 1" | 3/8" to 1.1/2" | 1/2" to 2.1/2" (6 mm–25 mm | 10 mm–40 mm | 12 mm–65 mm)
Tangential ChaserIMC tangential chasers are made from imported high-speed steel with controlled metallurgy and heat treatment. Individual chaser pieces are interchangeable so damaged elements can be replaced without changing the full set.
