IMC Rod Thread Cutting Machine is designed to cut external threads on rods using tangential chasers. The workpiece remains stationary while the die head rotates to form threads in standards such as BSPT, BSW, BSP, NPT, UNF, METRIC, UNC, ACME and BSF. IMC supplies this model for dependable thread production with reduced maintenance; gears are case-hardened and hob-cut for quiet operation at high speed.
