Testing Chamber DescriptionFluorescent UV weatherability chamber using fluorescent UV lamps to simulate UV radiation and condensation from natural sunlight. It reproduces UV, rain, high temperature, high humidity, condensation and dark periods in automated multi-segment cycles to accelerate material weathering and obtain reproducible ageing data.
Features- Industrial design with corrosion-resistant stainless steel interior and exterior and aluminum alloy sample rack for long-term laboratory use.
- Options with 3×20W or 8×40W fluorescent UV lamps; lamp life up to 5000 hours for stable spectral output.
- SIEMENS PLC touch screen controller for intuitive programming and real-time monitoring.
- Four irradiance sensors for improved reproducibility, uniformity and attenuation monitoring; automatic calibration as standard.
- Automatic water supply with return-type drainage, water level display and low-water alarm for reliable spray cycles.
Touch screen controller (SIEMENS)- 9.7-inch touchscreen with menu-driven interface for clear display of test parameters and easy operation.
- Visual setting and display of irradiance, black panel temperature, humidity and rain cycles.
- Displays all control parameters and automatic fault diagnostics.
- Programmable to industry standards; up to 10 customizable segments per program.
- Built-in data processing and playback for test records.
UV source- Uses imported 40W (or 20W for LFZ-UW-B) fluorescent UV lamps with stable spectral power distribution and reduced aging effects.
- Optional lamp types: UVA-340 or UVB-313 to match different test standards.
Irradiance automatic monitoring and control system- Four irradiance sensors ensure reproducibility and uniformity while monitoring irradiance attenuation; automatic calibration included.
- Optional: traceable radiometer for monitoring calibrated to national/international metrology institutes to guarantee irradiance accuracy and stability.
Sprinklers- Adjustable spray uniformity via controller to observe spray pattern and replace or adjust nozzles as needed.
- Sprinklers simulate rainfall with even spray to reproduce erosion and thermal shock effects caused by wetting and drying cycles.
- Equipped with drainage collection tray for easy water removal and maintenance.
- Designed to reproduce surface rain exposure and temperature shock ageing on samples.
