Product overview
The Modularis professional mulcher for excavators is an attachment designed for excavators weighing between 4 and 16 tonnes. It grinds dense vegetation, stumps and roots up to 25 cm in diameter into wood biomass, supporting fire prevention and site clearing. It is suitable for steep slopes and hard-to-access terrain and delivers consistent performance in demanding conditions.

Drive, safety and adjustment
The mulcher is powered by a high-torque hydraulic motor with V-belt transmission. Integrated safety shields and chain curtains reduce the risk of debris ejection. Mulching depth and direction are adjustable to limit soil disturbance and to improve mulch quality.

Professional version and mounting
The professional configuration uses the Modularis fully floating mount with hydraulic rotation to avoid stress transfer from the excavator to the attachment. The unit automatically retracts on impact with large obstacles such as stones or large roots. Mounting and drive can be adapted to the host machine to optimise performance and fuel consumption.

Important operational notes
Performance may be reduced when the mulcher is used with an existing hydraulic circuit sized for other attachments (e.g. breakers or grapples), particularly during arm or machine movement. Hydraulic return line pressures above 15 bar can cause hydraulic motor seal leaks and oil loss.
