Description

Overview
Rulon® 142 / 142S / 242 are metal-filled PTFE-based bearing materials formulated in a dull blue-green color. They provide low wear, good dimensional stability, high thermal dissipation and effective vibration damping for linear bearing and sliding applications. Strong acids and bases should be avoided as they can attack the metal-filled fillers.

Available as packings, stamped parts, extruded profiles, machined components, molded shapes, wear bands and seal rings. Materials are supplied molded and precision-machined from high-performance PTFE and filled PTFE composites to control wear and friction for specific environments.
