Product Overview
The FMX-DT is a dual-technology (passive infrared + microwave) indoor PIR motion detector designed for high-end residential and light commercial applications. It provides 15 m x 15 m coverage (85°) and is a hardwired unit with an EOL option. The FMX series offers 78 dense detection zones; at any point more than four (quad) zones are used to validate an alarm. The CORE processor performs digital quantification of infrared energy to improve discrimination between humans and small animals and to reduce false alarms.
