Overview
Pertronic Net2 Fibre Optic Converters (FIBNET) provide duplex fibre-optic network ports for the Pertronic Net2 Network Card (NET2CARD). Each converter module terminates one end of a fibre link segment and exposes separate RX and TX connectors for the link's dual-fibre cables. Converters are offered for both multi-mode and single-mode fibre and with either ST or SC connector types.

Features
Modules support multi-mode (MMF) and single-mode (SMF) operation and are available in ST (bayonet) or SC (push-in) connector formats. The NET2CARD accepts any combination of fibre converters and RS-485 copper connections. The card provides two network ports, NET IN and NET OUT, each configurable as Copper (no fibre converter), Multi-mode fibre (with FIBNET-MMF or FIBNET-MMF-SC) or Single-mode fibre (with FIBNET-SMF or FIBNET-SMF-SC). Ensure both ends of a fibre link use terminations compatible with the cable type.
