Membrane diffusers of the Sanitaire SILVER II series are a fine-bubble, deep-aeration solution designed for activated sludge and industrial wastewater treatment. The EPDM membranes are engineered with a unique slot pattern and profile to produce a uniform bubble field and maximize oxygen transfer efficiency. Durable, high-grade EPDM and optimized design deliver long service life—typically 10 years or more depending on operating conditions.
The integrated check valve enables reliable zone isolation for air-on/air-off control, reducing energy use and simplifying maintenance.

Sanitaire diffuser bases and supports
Sanitaire diffuser bases are engineered for quick installation and provide the mechanical strength required to support SILVER II membranes and ceramic discs. Patented keyed connectors ensure a secure, leak-resistant link between diffuser piping and the air manifold, compensating for thermal expansion and resisting water hammer and dynamic loads.
Stainless steel bases and threaded, height-adjustable supports offer corrosion resistance and precise grate-level adjustment; reinforced support variants are available for high-velocity zones or areas with mixers.
