OverviewFlygt jet mixers combine patented Flygt N-pump technology with an ejector assembly to deliver efficient mixing for demanding wastewater and sludge applications. The floor-mounted, dry-installed system performs in partially filled tanks with low liquid levels as well as in fully filled tanks, minimizing solids settling and sediment build-up.
Flygt N-pumpFlygt N-pumps provide near-constant hydraulic efficiency across variable fluid compositions thanks to patented self-cleaning hydraulics. Key hydraulic features include swept-back impeller edges, a widening discharge groove and an integrated guiding pin. N-pumps handle municipal sludge up to 8% dry solids, are available with durable Hard-Iron™ hydraulics for abrasive conditions, and can be supplied in explosion-proof versions. The monobloc design integrates the electric motor with the hydraulic unit for a compact installation and simplified service.
Innovative ejector assemblyThe non-clogging ejector assembly consists of a large discharge nozzle and an ejector tube with a shaped inlet. The nozzle diameter is sized to pass solids equivalent to the pump passage. Primary flow from the pump is directed through the nozzle into the ejector tube, inducing a secondary flow from the surrounding liquid and amplifying total mass flow to reduce settling and sedimentation.
