Product overview
Membrane diffusers from the Sanitaire GOLD series are an evolution in fine-bubble aeration technology. They deliver high bubble density at low air flow rates and can be mounted close to tank bottoms to provide efficient sewage aeration with reduced energy consumption. The diffuser design combines a micro-perforated polyurethane membrane and a geometry optimized for high oxygen transfer to wastewater while minimizing power use.

Construction and materials
The membrane is made from thick, highly flexible polyurethane for extended wear resistance. Diffusers include a watertight end connector and robust sealing system engineered to withstand daily operational stresses. Units are supplied pre-assembled to simplify on-site installation.

Sanitaire diffuser bases and supports
Sanitaire diffuser bases are quick to install and provide high mechanical strength to support Sanitaire GOLD (and Silver II) membranes as well as Sanitaire ceramic discs. Each submerged aeration assembly includes a solid mount serving as an integral support element. Patented keyed connectors ensure a strong, permanent connection between diffuser air supply pipes and the manifold, compensating thermal expansion and resisting water hammer and dynamic loads. Supports are manufactured from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, feature threaded, highly adjustable leveling mechanisms and reinforced variants are available for high-velocity or mixer zones.

Installation and operation
The compact, pre-assembled design enables rapid on-site installation and fast commissioning of sewage aeration systems. Diffusers are adaptable for continuous aeration and air-on/air-off applications and suit both high-density and low air-flow requirements.
