Introduction
The Rockwell hardness tester Qness 150 CS combines precise measurement capability with simple operation. The characteristic C-shaped machine frame in a compact design (S for small) provides access to small and medium test pieces while maintaining stable testing conditions.

Precision depth-gauging
QATM configures the Qness 150 CS with a direct HEIDENHAIN depth-gauging system mounted exactly on the indenter axis. This eliminates measurement errors caused by system deformation and enables direct depth measurement calibrated to current Rockwell standards.

Test methods & standards
Rockwell testing compliant with DIN EN ISO 6508 and ASTM E18. Supported Rockwell scales and test types include HRA, HRV; HR15-N/T/W/X/Y; HR30-N/T/W/X/Y; HR45-N/T/W/X/Y.

Integrated conversions
Integrated conversions per DIN EN ISO 18265, DIN EN ISO 50150 and ASTM E140.
