Introduction
The Qness 150 CSA+ combines the versatility of a fully automatic hardness tester with the speed of Rockwell testing. A fully automatic XY slide ensures high-precision hardness measurement for fully automated series and progression tests on parts with identical test heights; individual tests are also supported.

Overview / Design
Controlled force application from 1 kg to 250 kg with a direct depth-gauge system (0.05 μm resolution). Removable downholder for access to restricted points, sheet-steel covers and built-in LED workspace lighting to simplify positioning.

Operation & Automation
Fully automated test cycle with electronic force application and closed-loop control. High-precision, fully automatic XY slide with external joystick for axis control. Usable support surface 180 x 200 mm; traverse path X 220 / Y 220 mm. Dynamic joystick controls all three axes (XYZ).

Software & Connectivity
QPIX CONTROL 2 next-generation hardness testing software (3D imaging, intuitive interface). All QATM testers with QpixControl2 and QpixT2 integrate into the Verder Scientific IoT platform for remote access, real-time monitoring, live notifications, simplified backups and automatic free software updates.

Measurement & Imaging
Standard CSA+ versions include a 5 megapixel colour sample-image camera for table-surface documentation. Indentation depth is measured directly by a HEIDENHAIN depth-gauging system mounted on the indenter axis to avoid deformation-related inaccuracies.

Clamping & Safety
High-performance induction motor provides clamping power automatically adapted to the test method and exceeds the test force to ensure secure clamping. Removable clamping head reduces downtime for retooling and improves access to complex contours.
