Approved according to the MID standard for fiscal measurement, the TRZ2 turbine gas meter offers outstanding features to ensure accuracy and reliability. It conforms to EN12261, PED, ASME, ATEX and IECEx standards, providing the lowest measurement uncertainty and high repeatability. Equipped with an aluminum flow rectifier, the meter ensures accurate measurements in a wide range of applications. It is available in different sizes from G65 to G1000, with a maximum measuring range of 5 to 1,600 m3/h. Nominal diameters range from DN 50 to 150 (2" to 6"), supporting operating pressures from 0 to 100 barg and flange ratings in PN 10-100 and ANSI 150-600. The TRZ2 turbine gas meter is designed and manufactured in accordance with the European standard for turbine meters EN 12261. As a standard, the TRZ2 meets the error limit requirements of EN 12261, which are as follows: ± 1 % for flow from 0.2 Qmax to Qmax ± 2 % for flow from Qmin to 0.2 Qmax. Turbine revolutions are transmitted to the 8-digit mechanical counter located in the pressure-free index head by means of gears and a magnetic coupling. Finally, the output of the counter is designed for optimal flow conditions and reduction of pressure loss after the measurement process. For added functionality, the counter optionally offers high-frequency NAMUR pulses.
