Description

The device incorporates complete Freewheels FBL with RINGSPANN shaft coupling, which are sealed sprag free wheels with ball bearings used for coupling two shafts. They are supplied oil-filled and ready for installation. The sprags are available in three types. The freewheels FBL are used generally as overrunning Clutches. This only describes the standard type. Two other types are available for extended service life with bores up to 140 mm and Nominal torques up to 8 000 Nm. Numerous bores are also available. The torsionally stiff shaft coupling can accept large radial and angular shaft misalignments, without reactive forces affecting neighboring bearings.
