Product overviewFully automatic coffee machines are increasingly produced for both professional and private markets, increasing unit volumes and requiring automated, standards-compliant end-of-line testing adapted to multiple national power systems.
IndustryHousehold appliances
TaskHigh-volume production of compact fully automatic coffee machines requires a flexible, software-driven test system that supports different mains voltages, frequencies and international plug types, ensures workplace safety according to EN 50191, records all test data on a PC and provides automated daily dummy tests.
SolutionThe KT 1885B compact tester with a dedicated coffee-machine extension integrated into a test rack, combined with a separate standard PC or laptop connected via Ethernet (LAN). The tester is freely programmable to perform both safety and function tests. A separate connection desk groups international plug connectors and allows for future extensions. Two-hand operation and a ground bond test pin are integrated; a dummy stored in the rack enables daily automatic dummy tests.
Benefits- Modular, future-ready setup using a separate standard PC with networked test software
- Programmable electronic supply and configurable test sequences
- Turnkey workstation layout including separate connection desk
- Intuitive operation for trained operators
- Single connection of the DUT with fully automatic test sequence
- Automatic storage of test data in the chosen network location or database
- Long service life and service-friendly design
- All parameters and limits adjustable via software
- Workplace safety compliant with EN 50191
- Short cycle times using safety-current-limited test techniques
- Automatic daily dummy test
