This side-shift stainless steel drum unloader removes drums from a single side of a pallet. The over-pallet design enables smooth travel of the lifter body across standard pallets, making the unit suitable for pharmaceutical and food production environments where hygiene and corrosion resistance are required.

Handles a wide range of drums
Manufactured in high-grade stainless steel, the universal drum catch is adjustable to accommodate steel open-top and tight-head drums, L-Ring and MAUSER plastic drums, and fibreboard drums. Compatible drum sizes: 50–220 L.

Side-shift lifter
Fourteen precision bearings ensure low-resistance side-to-side movement for accurate positioning on pallets or within confined workspaces. The lifter section can be locked in position using a hand-operated toggle clamp. Suitable drum heights: 380–1000 mm.

Vertical height adjustment
The front frame offers multiple mounting positions. Reposition the drum catch by removing the securing pin, adjusting to the required height and refitting the pin for secure operation.

Manual hydraulic pump
The unit is fitted with a UK-manufactured hydraulic pump supplying oil to a nickel- and chrome-plated steel lift ram. The pump is enclosed in a sealed shroud to protect against contamination. Operators raise the drum via the rear handle and lower it using a precision valve. Hand pump displacement: 17 cc.

ATEX certified models
Available for hazardous atmospheres; ATEX versions are supplied with a Declaration of Conformity and Load Test Certificate and maintain electrical continuity through the lifter for grounding.
