Overview
This powered counterbalance drum handler enables safe, accurate lifting and transport of drums up to 350 kg, removing manual handling from repetitive or heavy-duty drum operations. The automatic beak grip engages common drum lips and a rear tiller provides easy manoeuvring and precise placement.

Key features

• Automatic beak grip Fully automatic clamp engages and lifts 100–220 L steel, plastic and fibreboard drums (including MAUSER drums). The gripper raises and clamps the drum lip in one motion; alternative grippers are available for other drum types and lips.
• Battery-powered drive system Two 180 Ah batteries supply a 24 V electric drive motor. Drive, lift and lower functions are integrated into the rear tiller assembly. An on-board charger allows recharging from mains power.
• Counterbalance design No front legs allow placement onto pallets, bunds, conveyors, machines and dollies without obstruction. Counterweights can be specified for heavier loads to ensure stability and compliance.
• Tiller controls Rear tiller includes variable speed throttles, anti-trap protection and an emergency stop. Control layout is similar to mobile stacker trucks for operator familiarity, and a horn provides audible warning.
• Drum suitability Compatible with steel, plastic and fibreboard drums, 100–220 litres (incl. MAUSER drums). Gripper height is adjustable to suit different drum lips.
