Overview
This stainless steel counterbalance drum handler (model DPC01-R500-SS) is a powered drum lifter designed for safe, efficient handling of filled drums in regulated production environments such as pharmaceutical and food facilities. Constructed from 304-grade stainless steel and finished for hygienic cleaning, the unit eliminates manual lifting and allows precise placement onto pallets, bunds, conveyors and machines.

• Automatic beak gripper: clamps the drum top lip automatically, compatible with a wide range of drum lips; height adjustable.
• Battery-powered drive: two 180 Ah batteries with a 24 V, 1000 W electric drive wheel; rear tiller for drive and lift control; on-board smart 230 V charger with drive-disable function.
• Counterbalance design: no front legs — approach from any flat side; suitable for placing drums onto pallets, bunds, conveyors, machines and dollies; option for additional counterweight for heavier drums.
• Tiller controls: rear tiller with variable speed throttles, anti-trap protection switch and built-in horn; ergonomics and controls similar to mobile stacker trucks for rapid operator familiarisation.
• Drum compatibility: suitable for steel, plastic and fibreboard drums (100–220 litres, including MAUSER drums); automatic gripper requires some drum weight to close (not intended for empty drums).

Construction and finish
Manufactured from 304-grade stainless steel with aqua-blasted and vibro-polished components for a smooth, hygienic finish. Guarding provided in shatterproof clear polycarbonate for visibility and protection.

Optional features

• Tall-lift variant: increased lift stroke (option up to 760 mm) for loading into higher containment bunds or elevated equipment.
