Description

INTRODUCTION
The TOPKING X-P series CNC External Cylindrical Grinder incorporates plunge grinding and an angular wheelhead to deliver excellent end-face grinding performance. It performs both end-face and outer diameter grinding and is equipped with a 180 mm wide grinding wheel for one-time processing to improve production efficiency. This series features a reinforced structure, a heavy-duty main spindle, and a tailstock for robust support. The cross-slide design of the X and Z axes reduces footprint while maximizing axial travel, enhancing machine performance for stable, reliable grinding solutions. The X-P series is suitable for high-precision components such as shafts (motor shafts, ball screws, drive shafts) and precision gears, delivering high machining quality and productivity.

MACHINE FEATURES
USER FRIENDLY OPERATION SYSTEM
The built-in advanced CNC control system with GUI guides operators in dividing complex workpieces into multiple grinding processes and simplifies process editing for grinding and dressing without requiring complicated G/M code programming.

RIGID MACHINE BASE
High rigidity machine base made of Meehanite cast iron with annealing and aging treatment. Slideways undergo high-frequency hardening and precision grinding for deformation-free operation and outstanding wear resistance. Thick, solid sliding seat mechanism and 1 V 1 flat slideway structure ensure best precision and stability during grinding.

HIGH RIGIDITY SLIDEWAY
1V1 flat guideway design with high-frequency hardening and precision grinding for improved wear resistance and stability. Dual-axis system with high-rigidity box way sliders and large ball screws enhances load-bearing capacity and stable wheelhead movement.

WORK TABLE
The worktable is anchored to the base and features a cross-slide design for the X and Z axes to minimize travel and improve processing speed and stability.

CROSS-SLIDER DESIGN & AXIS GUIDANCE
Cross-slide structure on X and Z axes enables flexible operations and reduces overall footprint. Dual-axis design with fully enclosed telescopic guards isolates grinding debris and prevents coolant contamination for long-term stable operation.

WHEELHEAD CONSTRUCTION
G.W. spindle uses precision bearings for long service life and easy maintenance. The G.W. spindle is made of high-quality alloy steel SNCM-220 and undergoes normalization, quenching and tempering, carburizing, cryogenic treatment, precision grinding and mirror treatment; surface hardness reaches above HRC62° for wear resistance and high precision.

RIGID WORKHEAD AND TAILSTOCK
Workhead and tailstock designed for heavy workpieces with solid structural rigidity. Workhead driven by servo motor for stepless variable speed. Hydraulic tailstock optional. Flat air pressure design minimizes friction. Cooling system for center hole to prevent deformation from heat.

DIAMOND TOOL HOLDER MOUNTED ON TAILSTOCK
(STANDARD FOR X-P SERIES) Dressing device fixed on tailstock. Multiple diamond tool holder types selectable according to workpiece requirements.

G.W. JIB CRANE
(STANDARD FOR X-35 SERIES) Integrated jib crane for wheel replacement installed within a full splash guard to enable safe and space-saving wheel replacement operations.
