Description

INTRODUCTION
The TOPKING X-2540CAM is a CNC non-round grinding machine designed for CAM-controlled contour grinding under space-constrained conditions. The machine adopts a cross-slide structure combined with linear motor drives and direct drive systems, enabling zero mechanical backlash and high dynamic response during non-circular interpolation. Precise C-X axis synchronization supports stable contour generation for non-round profiles. Suitable for grinding polygon punches, small camshafts, eccentric pins, and precision medical components, where consistent μm-level accuracy and repeatability are required.

  • RIGID MACHINE BASE: High rigidity Meehanite cast iron base with annealing/aging treatment; slideways treated by high-frequency hardening and precision grinding for deformation-free and wear-resistant construction.
  • WORK TABLE: Permanently bolted cross-slide design to reduce travel, improving working speed and precision stability.
  • CROSS-SLIDER DESIGN & AXIS GUIDANCE: X and C axes as cross-sliders to reduce machine space. X-axis driven by linear motor with linear guides and high-resolution linear scale for stable repeatability. Two axes protected by enclosed telescopic covers.
  • X-AXIS DRIVEN BY LINEAR MOTOR: Direct-drive linear motor on X axis for no backlash and precise position control; closed-loop control with linear scale; moving speed up to 15000 mm/min; linear motor design reduces wear and increases efficiency.
  • WHEELHEAD CONSTRUCTION: Built-in spindle for grinding wheel with lightweight wheelhead seat to reduce resonance; built-in spindle monitors temperature to prevent thermal deformation; high-speed rotation with rapid acceleration/deceleration and improved energy efficiency.
  • WORKHEAD SPINDLE: Working spindle with Direct Drive motor and precision angle encoder; high angle resolution ±0.2"; supports micro-adjustment for taper correction.
  • FINE ADJUSTMENT TAILSTOCK: Automatic oil bath lubrication and oil level gauge; enables taper correction in centers fixed grinding mode.
