Overview
Horizontal FLOW-VAC® type flow pack wrapper (HFFS) FV 45 that forms vacuum bags from a single shrink and barrier film (CRYOVAC®). Suitable for all types of food products. Medium-high performance level.

Description
The FLOW-VAC® system, developed by ULMA Packaging in collaboration with SEALED AIR, is a lower-reel HFFS machine feeding film from below product level to avoid seal contamination. The vacuum bag is formed around the product with a hermetic longitudinal seal; automated product detection indexes each item for a high-quality transverse seal. Excess longitudinal seal material is removed via a film scrap removal system. The FV 45 operates synchronized with incoming product speed and adapts to line variations. The electronic platform is PC-based with an industrial PC, touch screen and Windows-based graphic software; modem link options available. Designed and manufactured in stainless steel to meet hygienic requirements of the food industry.
