Description
The FOV 400 is an automatic horizontal flow-pack (HFFS) wrapper designed for shrink-pack or film-wrap applications producing an overlapped longitudinal seal. Developed by ULMA Packaging engineering teams, the machine combines a durable steel structure with high-format flexibility to handle a wide variety of products and materials with fast changeovers.

• Automatic machine controlled by an Industrial PC based motion control system for flexible operation.
• Robust painted steel frame.
• Pusher-type in-feed conveyor that transports products and automatically synchronizes their position with the cross-sealing head.
• Double reel holder accommodating film up to 850 mm wide and rolls up to 350 mm diameter.
• Flexible forming box to adapt the film tube to different product shapes.
• Longitudinal overlap sealing by ionizer for shrink applications or by hot-seal system for film-wrapping.
• Cross sealing via Long-Dwell sealing head with 400 mm wide sealing jaws driven by a brushless servomotor.
• Standard "No product - no bag" function to prevent empty bags while the in-feed conveyor runs continuously.
• Touch screen operator panel with parameter storage and intuitive menus for quick format changes.
