Description

Overview
VIGAN ship loaders are heavy-duty, highly customizable loading systems for bulk cargoes. Configurations handle up to 2,000 tons/hour with multiple layouts (fixed gantry, gantry on rails, gantry on tires) and a variety of boom lengths and widths. Each unit is engineered to match product characteristics, flow rate and site constraints.

Design approach
VIGAN delivers tailored solutions balancing operational performance and cost. Final setups are customized to customer requirements so each machine is optimized for efficiency and reliability in port environments.

Key features
  • High customization to adapt the loader to product, flowrate, operability and berth constraints.
  • Comprehensive dust management: hatch coverage, anti-dust skirts and dedicated dust control devices for dust-minimized loading.
  • Designed for high volumes with robust components to limit wear and reduce spare parts turnover.

Loading possibilities
  • Slewing elbow: telescopic chute with slewing elbow for trimming and precise placement.
  • Dust thrower: telescopic chute equipped with a motorized slewing thrower.
  • Kicking: telescopic kicking chute with dust-control mouth for close-range distribution.
  • Cascade: telescopic chute with flow-speed control to manage material drop profile.
  • Standard anti-dust skirt: high-wear telescopic chute with dust skirt.
  • Dust suction: telescopic chute with integrated dust extraction system.

Adaptation to site
  • Gantry options: fixed, on rails or on tires to suit quay layout and vessel handling.
  • Loading booms: slewing, telescopic, luffing and kicking variants to match vessel sizes and reach requirements.
  • Connection with facilities: bucket elevator, tripper, transfer conveyor, slewing conveyor or fixed connection points.
  • Other options and accessories: filters, operator cabin, remote support, climate adaptation, ATEX and chemical adaptations, retrofitting of VIGAN technology on other loader brands.
