OverviewThe Octagonal Blender Machine is a tumble blender designed for low-shear, uniform mixing of dry powders and granules. Available in laboratory and production scales with cGMP-compliant configurations for pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and food industries. Product-contact surfaces are stainless steel SS316 / SS316L; non-contact structures typically SS304 or mild steel cladded with SS304.

Working principleThe octagonal chamber rotates about a horizontal axis causing powder to lift, cascade and intermix in multi-directional patterns. The polygonal geometry reduces dead zones and promotes uniform mixing with minimal heat generation and particle degradation. Typical blend cycles: 10–20 minutes, depending on material and fill level.
