Working principle and advantagesThe conical vessel rotates on a horizontal axis mounted on trunnions. Material continuously splits, cascades and recombines, delivering convective and diffusive mixing actions for homogeneous blends with minimal segregation. The gentle tumbling action prevents product degradation and preserves sensitive powders.
