Overview
A waterproof push-pull solenoid is an electromagnetic actuator designed to operate effectively under wet, dusty, humid, or outdoor environmental conditions. How it works
Electrical current through the coil produces a magnetic field that attracts the movable plunger toward the coil center, resulting in linear motion (push or pull). After power is removed, a return spring or external force returns the plunger to its original position. Sealing materials and the housing protect internal components from contaminants, enabling operation in milliseconds for typical actuation cycles.
