Overview
R17L500-MRM1 is a 17-inch marine display designed and tested for shipboard applications to meet DNVGL-CG-0339, IEC60945 and IACS-E10. It features a metal housing with powder coating, IP66 front-side protection, front-panel OSD and a dimming knob providing near 0%–100% backlight control. The unit addresses shock, vibration and continuous-operation requirements for maritime equipment.

Product highlights
The display supports hyper-dimming for day, dusk and night operation and can accept an optional transflective film to improve outdoor visibility. Front OSD and a physical dimming knob enable rapid adjustments. Built-in PIP allows simultaneous viewing of multiple input sources and easy switching. Mechanical sealing and construction provide improved shock/vibration resistance and waterproof front-side protection for marine installations.

Connectivity
Video inputs and serial interfaces integrate with existing ship systems: 1 x VGA; 1 x DVI-D; 1 x Composite; 1 x S-Video. Serial: 1 x RS232 for remote control; 1 x RS232/USB for touch screen. Two COM ports available overall.
