MACHINE TENDING ROBOTS & SOLUTIONS:
SIA20 robot (20 kg payload) features a revolutionary 7-axis design with best-in-class wrist performance characteristics that enables amazing freedom of movement, coupled with the ability to maneuver in very tight areas. Short axis lengths/extreme motion flexibility allow it to be positioned out of the normal working area without limiting the motion range of any axis.
EH-series “Expert Handling” robots set a new standard for speed for large robots. These high-speed, high-payload robots are specifically designed for high duty cycle handling applications and offer superior performance.
HP-series “High-Performance” robots (payloads from 3-600 kg) are extremely versatile, general-purpose manipulators that excel at a wide variety of applications. These six-axis robots can be floor-, ceiling- and shelf-mounted for flexible layouts.
LoadWorld® is a flexible automation solution for machine tool tending. Pre-engineered modules include a Motoman robot, plus options for grippers, conveyors, part positioners, pallet floor locators, part cleaners and markers. Plug-and-play electrical connections facilitate integration. Motoman has standard electrical interfaces available for Haas, Mazak, Daewoo/Doosan, and Okuma machine tools.
EasyLoad™ machine tending software uses a conversational approach to speed programming and enhance productivity by reducing robot downtime for teaching. Using graphics, rather than text, and a touch screen interface on the Motoman NX100 robot programming pendant, EasyLoad guides users through simple step-by-step procedures to create complete, custom robot programs for the desired machine tending process.

Stäubli’s Plastics range of robots is the first line of 6 axis robots designed specifically for use in the plastics industry. They have been developed following detailed consultation and evaluation by both injection molding companies and system integrators.
Flexibility
Simply re-program the robot when the mold changes
Utilise the capacity of the machine fully by grouping various moulds together
Easy integration of the Plastics robots (can be easily moved to another Injection Molding Machine - IMM)
New molds or process additions can be easily accommodated by the plastics range
Speed
Stäubli plastics robots are the fastest 6-axis robots on the market in terms of speed and acceleration (i.e. 0,8 second demould time inside a 4 second cycle)
Cleanliness
Class 100 comes as standard
Fulfilling the requirements of the plastics industry
Plastics robots are available ready to use with pre-wired Euromap (Europe) / SPI (USA) hardware and safety interlock, along with industry dedicated interface

PRESS TENDING:
Motoman’s EPH-series “Expert Press Handling” robots set a new standard for speed with large robots and are specifically designed for the rigors of press tending. EPH-series press tending robots feature payloads from 100-200 kg (220.5-441.0 lbs) and come in floor- and shelf-mounted configurations. Shelf-mounted versions allow improved clearances for ease of die changes. Large work envelopes allow EPH models to be used to tend presses with spacing from 4-7 m (13-22.9 ft).
Compared to general-purpose robots, EPH-series press tending robots feature higher performance drive systems on the S, L and U axes (axes 1, 2, 3) for high duty cycle applications. These robots also feature a high vibration rating of 9.8 m/s2 (1.0G), which is needed for the press room environment. They can also be used anywhere that high-performance handling is required.

Tecnomatic' s Cartesian Numerican Control (CNC) robots represent the best that modern technology can offer for automating plastics injection moulding processes and are the product of the company' s 15 years of experience in this field. The Free Guided Programming (FGP) capability that all Tecnomatic robots have make it possible to realise extremely flexible work cycle with no limitation in the program complexity or lenght. This is accompained by the care we take in making sure programming is as simple as possible and well within the reach of all operatives working on the injection line. This series of robots is realized with load bearing structures in high rigidity steel and has vertical axes in .high strenght light alloy that permits very high speeds and great structural rigidity. Only the best available components are used in their construction, manufactured by leading companies in their respective fields.

ARBURG offers its customers machines and robotic systems from a single source. The machine is programmed and controlled via the central SELOGICA control system. A high degree of convenience is guaranteed here both by virtue of the operating principle with schematic sequence programming and the option of saving the respective MULTILIFTs integrated data record together with that of the mould.
The MULTILIFT H grips into the mould horizontally from the rear of the machine, leaving the space above the clamping unit free. Another major advantage is the reduction in the number of axes, resulting in shorter and quicker strokes, whereby short cycle times can be achieved.
The MULTILIFT V is arranged above the machine and removes the moulded parts vertically from the mould. Three servo-electric axes are also able to perform complex set-down tasks quickly and precisely. Its field of application mainly lies in the area of highly-complex insertion, removal and set-down tasks. It is just as easy to fill containers that have a high packaging density as it is to stack moulded parts or to insert intermediate layers.
The entry model MULTILIFT V SELECT is a low-cost, servo-electric robotic system with predefined features, which covers a lot of standard robotic system tasks.

Robots for different pallet weights (up to 700 kg) are available. The robot may be installed stationary or on rails. The maximum number of machines to be automated with stationary robots is 3.
The automation with robot is very fast and flexible. It the chucks on the machine table are set up accordingly multi side machining of work pieces is available by automatically changing the position of the work piece in the chucks with the robot. Additionally a robot may perform extra tasks, if the equipment for those tasks is installed within reach of the robot, for example the automatic cleaning of the work piece in an ultrasonic basin.
The complete installation and integration of the automation with robot is carried out by Roeders, service certainly also. This insures short reaction times and high reliability.
