Conax Technologies HEGPK electrical power sealed feedthroughs electrically and/or thermally isolate single electrodes, tubes or temperature sensors for use in vacuum furnaces, liquid level probes, transformers, environmental chambers, power leads and more. These bare electrical sealed feedthroughs also seal against gases and liquids and resist electrode (also known as conductor) movement under pressure. The Conax HEGPK Gland differs from the Conax EGT gland in that the single piece insulator/sealant is manufactured from PEEK, which is recognized as one of the highest performing engineered thermoplastic materials currently available.
Conductors are available in Copper, Nickel and 303SST. Use of Nickel rather than Copper is recommended in oxidizing atmospheres. Custom conductors, such as nickel-plated copper, are also available. Please consult factory.

New Progress EMC Series 85 cable gland
Low-impedance termination, variable shield tap through 360º with low transfer impedances
The development of the new cable gland – the Progress EMC Series 85 – had one primary aim: to improve the shield clamping area for each cable gland type significantly to give users more flexibility.
For this purpose a completely new collet chuck was developed. Ingenious segmentation of the collet chuck gives it optimal shield contact. The individual segments slide together when the cable gland is mounted to produce concentric shield termination (see figure). This guarantees vibration-proof implementation that is pull-out resistant.
These new, innovative EMC cable glands (patent pending) make it possible to cover a large shield clamping area with very few types.
Progress EMC Series 85 cable glands are ideal for high leakage currents. For this reason they are particularly well suited for use in power engineering, railway technology, and plant engineering among other areas.
The new type series includes M16 to M63 metrical versions for shield diameters of 3 - 44 mm and Pg 11 to Pg 29 for shield diameters of 6 - 33 mm; these are available from stock.

MatchClamp for compact cable entry points with IP 68 and one to ten times strain relief
With MatchClamp, PFLITSCH is presenting a revolutionary cable installation technology to the world, with which cables can be easily, safely and captively assembled, for example, on housings, equipment and connectors. Possible fields of application are vibration-proof sensor systems, industrial robots, respiration equipment, railway technology, motors, driving gears and a host of other areas with high requirements being made on fastening techniques.
As with all PFLITSCH products, very great sealing with strain relief is a matter of course. MatchClamp is waterproof (tested up to 20 bar) and impermeable to most gases. The fastening technology certainly attains the protective system IP 68 and with a good 500 N provides one to ten times strain relief, depending on the cable concerned, compared to conventional standard cable glands.

Transducer gland assemblies with fiberglass-insulated thermocouple wire are specially designed for applications where the sensor wire is exposed to process temperatures reaching up to 900°F (482°C). This assembly is particularly targeted for use with vacuum and/or inert gas back-filled furnaces with vessel wall temperatures up to 200°F (93.3°C) and pressures not exceeding 300 psi.
The assembly consists of bonded fiberglass-insulated/silicone impregnated thermocouple grade wires on the body side, with stripped bare wires passing through the Conax-manufactured transducer gland. An alternative high-temperature fiberglass for Type K wire is also available with temperature capabilities up to 1400°F (760°C). Sleeved insulation material on the wires exiting the cap side may be fiberglass/silicone impregnated, Teflon¨ or polyolefin.
Gland bodies, caps and followers are constructed from 303SST. Cap Style A offers a mounting thread only. Cap Style B provides threading on both ends for attachment to conduit or terminal heads. These assemblies are offered with Viton or Teflon sealants. Alternative sealants are available. Please consult a Conax Technologies sales engineer for custom needs.

Design-A-Flange is an innovative modular system where inserts can be changed depending on your needs. You can design you own configuration based on how many openings you want, where you want them placed, and what type of seal you want to have. You are no longer forced to use a fixed flange with a certain number of pre-determined openings. You choose the configuration that suits your needs.
The push-out membranes ensures fast and easy installation without worries about achieving the correct IP-level. Should you want cable anchorage on certain cables then just install a Klikseal or a cable gland in the flange. If a cable no longer will be used you can seal the opening either by replacing the insert or cutting out the membrane and sealing the opening with one of our grommets.
Design-A-Flange offers a number of features that you cannot find in any other flange solutions
- Design you own configuration, with the right size openings, and right number of openings placed where you want them.
- Push-out membranes to make installation fast, easy and fool-proof.
- High IP-protection.
- No need to drill separate holes to install a Klikseal or a cable gland.
- The inserts are easily changed to adapt to new needs.
- Very easy to seal an opening that no longer will be used.
