MatchClamp for compact cable entry points with IP 68 and one to ten times strain relief
With MatchClamp, PFLITSCH is presenting a revolutionary cable installation technology to the world, with which cables can be easily, safely and captively assembled, for example, on housings, equipment and connectors. Possible fields of application are vibration-proof sensor systems, industrial robots, respiration equipment, railway technology, motors, driving gears and a host of other areas with high requirements being made on fastening techniques.
As with all PFLITSCH products, very great sealing with strain relief is a matter of course. MatchClamp is waterproof (tested up to 20 bar) and impermeable to most gases. The fastening technology certainly attains the protective system IP 68 and with a good 500 N provides one to ten times strain relief, depending on the cable concerned, compared to conventional standard cable glands. |
|
| Conax Buffalo offers stainless steel sealing gland assemblies with fiberglass-insulated thermocouple wire for applications where the sensor wire is exposed to process temperatures up to 900º F (482º C) or 1400º F (760º C) for Type K wire. These assemblies are available with Viton or Teflon sealants, 20 or 24 AWG wire, and polyolefin, fiberglass or Teflon exit wire sleeving. |

| Conax Buffalo multiple hole sealing glands seal from 1-50 probes, tubes, wires or fiber optic cable in a single gland. Immersion lengths can be easily adjusted in the field and elements may be set at different lengths to monitor multiple points. Irregular shapes and patterns are available. A high density feedthrough is also available to accommodate up to 240 conductors. |
|
The MHM and MHC series of feedthroughs were designed to produce a leak free method of passing multiple probes or conductors (MHM and MHC) from ambient through to process conditions. Glands are available to carry upto 16 tubes or probes through a single fitting and elements in both metric and imperial sizes from 0.5mm (0.020") to 3.2mm (0.125")
The bodies of these feedthroughs are machined from 316L stainless steel and leak prevention is based upon soft sealant technology using Teflon®.Viton®, Neoprene, Lava & Grafoil®. All sealents are re-usable apart from Lava. Various thread forms and process connections are available including NPT, BSP, weld-neck and Tri-clover hygienic flanges.

|
| Conax Buffalo offers multiple wire soft sealant sealing glands for insulated leadwire or bare wire. Soft sealant technology resists element movement under pressure and seals against gases or liquids. Electrical isolation may be provided. Immersion length adjustments and easy replacement of elements can be accomplished in the field. |

Cable glands System UNI Dicht
– boundlessly applicable
The PFLITSCH System UNI® Dicht - is the modern cable gland program for a widely varying range of applications in electrical technology and electronics, machine and plant engineering, installation, traffic and chemical technology.
Gland bodies of various metals and plastics can be combined with sealing inserts of various materials, and therefore adapted precisely to cable diameters and conditions of use.
With UNI Multi several cables can be guided through a perfectly sealed connection. In addition, with UNI Dicht hose cable glandsconnections, cables can also be protected externally in special hoses. e.g. for corrugated pipes or hoses.
Pflitsch contributed actively to drawing up the European standard EN 50262 and continues to set standards through innovations.

Electrical Feedthroughs:
Nor-Cal's extensive line of electrical feedthroughs are manufactured from ultra-high vacuum grade materials such as high alumina ceramic insulators, OFHC® copper and nickel conductors, and 304 stainless steel flanges. These robust ceramic to metal feedthroughs have electrical ratings for operation with one side in dry atmosphere while the opposite end is in a stable vacuum. They are used in ultra high vacuum systems with CF flanges or high vacuum systems with NW flanges. CF feedthroughs can be baked to 450°C and NWs to 204°C with maximum system pressure of 1 x 10-4 Torr. Our product line consists of the most commonly required feedthroughs for general vacuum applications. Customs designs or modified standards can readily be supplied. |

The PG series of feedthroughs were designed to produce a leak free method of passing a single probe or conductor from ambient through to process conditions.
The bodies of these feedthroughs are machined from 316L stainless steel and leak prevention is based upon soft sealant technology using Teflon®. Various thread forms and process connections are available including NPT, BSP, weld-neck and Tri-clover hygienic flanges.
Applying the correct torque to the gland cap nut will ensure a permanent leak free seal without damage to the probe or conductor. Following the removal of a probe or probes for calibration the sealant can be re-used.
Where it is necessary to remove one or more probes (perhaps for operational reasons) when using multiple probes, normal sterilising procedures can still be maintained by fitting the vacant positions with an EGB. This is fabricated in 316L stainless steel to the same diameter of the absent probe. It is constructed with a larger diameter on the chamber side to prevent movement of the blank through the sealant when exposed to chamber pressure. |
|
Conventional methods of chamber entry for validation thermocouples allow only limited numbers of thermocouples to be used. They are relatively time consuming in their application and frequently prone to unacceptable leakage.
The TCEG/1 addresses both these problem areas by providing individual slots for 18 separate thermocouples and a rapid action, locking and securing mechanism.
By utilising a three part sealant arrangement the gland becomes a TCEG/2 with the opportunity of increasing the capacity to 36 individual thermocouples. Should even more thermocouples need to be accommodated, then a ‘Y’ adapter connected to the chamber entry port can double both these quantities.
For mounting onto the autoclave chamber the TCEG is supplied with a Tri-clamp flange with the option of having a 1½” or up to 2½” flange.
The gland body is machined from 316L stainless steel with the cap in CZ121 brass. Sealants are in medical grade silicone to Shore 40 hardness and in accordance with FDA USP Class VI.
