Workshop presses
LUKAS workshop presses are operated by hand- or motor pumps. Presses with hand pumps are equipped with single-acting cylinders, presses with motor pumps are equipped with double-acting cylinders.

Hydroforming with pressure dome makes the impossible possible. It provides the ability to form complex shaped parts, almost impossible to produce by conventional means. The working principle is based on creating a pressure in a medium (fluid) in an enclosed chamber.
The process utilizes the characteristics of the fluid always applying pressure perpendicular to the material.
At the same time a blank holding force is applied in the tool. The AP&T range of pressure dome hydroforming products consists of:
External unit HMU, placed on the press bed in a stationary press.
Hydroforming Press HMD, were the punch is activated from below and the pressure chamber is placed in the slide.

Tryout presses
Our tryout presses are designed for rapid and efficient die tryout. Special attention has been paid to protecting the machine from abrasive projections from grinders used by the operators.
Simple and user-friendly operation of these machines is facilitated by the use of PLC's connected to control keyboards and screens which give an immediate overall view of the work being carried out. These machines are very accurate and user-friendly but also robust and reliable, and they can be converted into production presses, thus considerably reducing the investment burden. Our research and development teams can provide various solutions to turn one of these presses into a general-purpose machine.
