The motors with integrated encoder represent a revolutionary component in the automation field offering to the OEM and to the end user new opportunities and notable economy advantages due to its user-friendly design. The new range of three-phase asynchronous motors with integrated encoder has been designed specifically to offer the end user a comprehensive choice of an already widely tested three phase motor, with superior quality. Two main choice of MGM motors with built-in are available: brake motors (BAE/BMEAV) and standard motors (SAE/SMEAV). The power range starts from 0.06 kW up to 45 kW (from 56 up to 225 frame size).
The unit consists of a three phase asynchronous motor with high efficiency and low moment of inertia and with the actual encoder located in the back (ND-side). MGM motors are suitable for inverter use. The mechanical coupling is the same of a standardized motor (special shaft and flange are available on request), wirings are very simple: power and electrical signal are separated.
MGM motors with built-in encoder can be supplied in conformity with requirements of standards UL 1004 “Electric motors” and CSA 0 22.2 No. 100-95 Motors and generators” (c CSA us approval).

The family with success of the drives of FlexiDrive positioning was lately supplemented by a new compact alternative MSIA. This alternative delivers, in discontinuous service, up to 238 W for a depth of assembly of only 245 mm reducing included/understood, and can be equipped with radial or axial connectors of exit.
The systems of drives FlexiDrive MSIA are built on the basis of engine with D.C. current without brushes with integrated positioning control. A multi-turn absolute coder is also integrated, delivering a signal coded on 14 bits per turn, for more than 260.000 turns. The whole is controlled via an interface Profibus DP or Canopen. FlexiDrive is used for the automatic adjustment of the format on the packing machines, of work of wood, paper or metal.
This design "all-in-a" causes to appreciably reduce the costs of engineering and wiring as well as the size of the electrical power boxs. The positional checking of the axis, ensured by a multi-turn absolute coder, guarantees tiny times of preparation and handing-over under operation, even after a total cut of the installation. With this new version, you have a solution of drive requiring even less place than before. |

iServo ® - B200
AC Servo Positioning Module :
The new iServo-Positioning Module with brush-
less servo-technology is distinguished by ex-
treme output density and its special dynamic positioning capacity. Installation and commissioning of this member of the iServo family can also be realised particularly quickly and easily, thanks to functional software and integrated electronics. The iServo B200 can be programmed in minutes for any positioning task, regardless of whether the system is utilised via PC, master PLC or the clever iBox+. The iServo B200 elegantly tackles sophisticated tasks, thanks to several digital and analogue I/O's and up to 60 programmable traversing profiles.

| By definition, mechatronic systems control physical processes by goal-directed motions which are calculated by an intelligent control system drawing information from its environment. SONCEBOZ mechatronic systems therefore typically consist of step motors or linear actuators with integrated processor control and power electronics. The systems have interfaces for control and sensor signals and in specific applications they are also coupled via data busses such as CAN, RS 485 etc. into communications networks. The compact standard products in the form of Top Drive hybrid step motors with integrated power electronics and pulse/direction interfaces are used wherever low dimensions, low running noise and simplified cabling plus rapid operational availability are required. |

Nowadays it is hard to imagine a kitchen without a blender or a bathroom without a hairdryer. To operate, all these appliances, as well as analog clocks, tools, projectors, supervising cameras, programmers, copy machines, etc., you need a synchronous motor.
The main difference between PM stepper motors and synchronous motors is in the way of rotation. Synchronous motors rotate with constant speed. Their basic goal is to transform electric energy into mechanic energy. The most important characteristic, that distincts various synchronous motors, is the stability of rotational speed according to supply voltage. The bigger stability, the better the motor. |
