The SL-EC Series brushless disk motors have a flat construction, are maintenance-free, and are available with a wide range of rated voltages.
The rotor, which is equipped with magnets, can be operated as a direct drive that is sealed off from the surrounding environment. This makes them ideal for compact and robust customer-specific solutions. |
|
Motors in the BG range are electronically-
commutated direct current
motors (EC motors) with integrated
Hall sensors for rotor-position recognition.
Besides ball bearings, these
motors have no parts that are subject
to wear, and are thus especially suitable
for continuous operation. Their high
power density and compact form,
combined with a favourable
price/performance ratio make these
motors suitable for numerous applications. |

The IG series DC brushless three-phase servomotor delivers high continuous torque in a cost reduced package.
The increased torque is the result of eight magnetic poles on the rotor compared to the traditional four magnetic poles. This design uses neodymium magnets for maximum performance. The IG series has an open-lamination design reducing cost. This series come with NEMA standard flanges size 17, 23, 34, and 42 with continuous torque rating from 25 to 820 oz-in (0.18 to 5.80 Nm).
An optical encoder having A, B and C encoder tracks and uvw commutation tracks comes standard with the servomotor. Encoder resolutions available are 500, 1000, 2000, 2048, 4096, and 8192 ppr (pulse per revolution).
The servomotor is designed with a 40 in (101.6 cm) shielded/grounded power and encoder cable extending from the rear of the servomotor for fitting into those tight locations.
Both IP 40 and IP 65 are available for the environmental rating. All models are available with gear heads.
The motors are available with and without a build-in holding brake. The motor length and specifications would vary if a servomotor with a brake is chosen.

Torque motors produce a high torque which acts proportionally with the current and remains practically constant over the whole of the engine's axis of rotation. With torque of up to 480mNm and angles of rotation of 80°, these are eminently suitable for adjustment tasks such as those effected by throttle valves, AGR valves, or variable turbine configurations in exhaust gas turbochargers. Their contact-free function and the option of installing position sensors gives the user a motive power solution with the assurance of all-round availability and safety.
The products of the series 4000 are at present only available for OEM applications. |
