Engineered for improved operation, the DODGE gear coupling is manufactured with high-quality forged steel for longer service life, and features a high torque rating for efficient downsizing.
EXCELLENT TORQUE/SPEED RATINGS
Capable of transmitting high torque at high speeds, the DODGE Gear coupling is designed with two flanged sleeves that are bolted together. Each sleeve contains internal gear teeth that transmit torque when meshed with each hub’s external gear teeth.
SUPERIOR SEALING SYSTEM
Machined flanges offer improved sealing, and the coupling’s reliable
O-ring seal design provides an effective barrier against contaminants. Unlike competitive gear couplings, which use paper gaskets that could become dry or damaged over time, sealing compound is included with every
DODGE Gear coupling.
VERSATILE DESIGN
Its versatile, modular system design is half-for-half interchangeable with
all standard gear couplings. Plus, the DODGE Gear coupling’s high
torque rating allows for downsizing, while its versatile design permits
interchangeable half couplings.
LARGEST BORE CAPACITY IN INDUSTRY
The DODGE Gear coupling also offers the largest bore capacity in the
industry in most sizes. It’s well suited for reversing applications and can
be combined with any DODGE speed reducer to achieve a tailored package
for maximum results.

Lovejoy offers a variety of designs and models in its gear coupling family. From standard, off-the-shelf stock to new, high speed, special designs, Lovejoy can satisfy your gear coupling needs.
The original Continuous Sleeve, or “C” coupling, offers a lightweight, compact, and simple design without compromising torque carrying capacity.
The Flanged Sleeve, or “F” coupling, is available in exposed or shrouded bolt styles in which the number of bolts, size of bolts, and bolt circle are identical with industry standards.
The nylon sleeve gear couplings, Nyflex and Mite, are compact, lightweight couplings that use a nylon sleeve and two sintered iron hubs. Lubrication is not required with the nylon sleeve.
Lovejoy also has an All Metal Labyrinth Seal coupling and an Alloy Steel coupling. The All Metal Labyrinth Seal coupling is a flanged sleeve style, but uses no elastomeric seals. The Alloy Steel coupling is made from AISI 4140 steel.

Available in 28 sizes, and all featuring triple-crowned teeth, David Brown gear couplings offer the industry leading torque ratings (over 8 million Nm) and the largest bore capacities (up to 1025 mm).
- Type GC02 & GC05 Continuous Sleeve Couplings - Features a one-piece, low profile sleeve encompassing the hubs. Economical and compact they are available in both close coupled and floating shaft models.
- Type G/GF32 Spacer Coupling - For pumps and compressor applications, provide ease of servicing 'connected' equipment.
- Type G/GF52 Floating Shaft Coupling - Used when distance between equipment is too great for spacer couplings. Two single engagement couplings with interconnecting shaft. Also available for vertical mounting.

Curvic® Couplings have precision face splines with curved radial teeth of contact depth. They are used for joining two or more members to form a single operating unit.

Clutch Couplings
Automatic freewheel clutches are used in conjunction with a double engagement gear coupling. They can be produced in close coupled or spacer design to suit. The clutch coupling must be stopped to check internal lube oil on a scheduled basis. If space is available, the recommended choice is a Marland CECON clutch with full oil system for non-stop operation.

polyurethane facilities, refrigerating machines and vacuum
facilities. For these applications, you have the possibility
to equip the KF 4…80 with a magnetic coupling.
The magnetic coupling serves as a shaft seal and for the
transmission of the torque. The outer rotor of the magnetic
coupling is assembled on the engine shaft and the inner
rotor is assembled directly on the pumping shaft. The
torque is transmitted through the magnetic forces between
the outer and inner rotor. Between the two rotors, you
have the split case which hermetically seals the pump.
