Overview
The Stacker AS-M from BHS Corrugated is a dedicated corrugated board stacking system designed to form flat, accurately aligned stacks with short cycle times. It supports rapid handling of short orders and stacks that grow quickly in height.

Stack quality

• Available in Simplex (one stack chamber), Duplex (two chambers) or Triplex (three chambers) configurations; chamber sizes are customized to project requirements.
• Sectionally controllable vacuum belts at the brush-brake station enable vacuum adjustment by board quality, benefiting light grammages and small formats.
• Automatic, variable drop-height adjustment optimizes sheet placement and stack formation.
• Geometrically optimized transport belt sections keep sheets in contact with belts as long as possible for precise delivery into the stacking chamber.

Configurations

• Supplied as Upstacker, Downstacker or combined Up/Down solutions to fit line layout and process flow.
• Typical Upstacker cycle time: approx. 12 s to full stack height; for small stacking heights (e.g. 500 mm) cycle time can be as low as 8.5 s.
• Control systems and automation support simultaneous production of multiple orders on one level and multi-stacking (combining several orders in one stack).
• Number of stacking chambers does not increase personnel requirements; the machine can be operated without additional monitoring staff.

Ejection and stacking

• Integrated solutions for ejecting scrap sheets from the cutoff using waste belts capable of ejecting more than three sheets at speeds up to 400 m/min.
• Portfolio includes a dedicated Stacker for endless-board production (Stacker AS-F) for continuous processes.
