Format4 Creator 1250 – compact CNC machining center for panel processing
The Format4 Creator 1250 combines a compact footprint with a high-performance main spindle (up to 12 kW), configurable drilling heads and a 17-position linear toolchanger for short changeover times. The machine processes panels up to 6 m length, 1250 mm width and 80 mm thickness. Horizontal workpiece transport and height-adjustable supports enable ergonomic handling and single-operator loading. Optional roller and X-axis extensions increase flexibility for long panels.

X-axis extension (option)
Optional extension of the X-axis up to 3600 mm (standard 1470 mm) reduces changeover cycles for medium and long workpieces and increases throughput per shift.

Two-clamp belt feeder (option) — key points
Two independent servo-driven clamps enable dynamic, uninterrupted workpiece movement except at clamp contact.

Dowel aggregate (X direction) — details
The dowel aggregate for X consists of two units: an insertion unit on the drill head and vibrator plus glue/water tanks inside the housing. Dowel insertion in X direction is possible; supported dowel width 8 mm; permitted lengths 20, 25, 30, 35 or 40 mm (tolerance ±0.2 mm). Swelling dowels (water-activated) supported; storage and humidity affect results.

Main spindle and drill head
The standard machine is equipped with a high-performance 12 kW main spindle. Standard drilling head DH17 (DH25 optional) provides comprehensive processing. All relevant spindles are motor-driven.

4-sided formatting
The router unit enables 4-sided formatting and cutouts for right-angled panels. With suitable clamp systems, chip removal on the clamp side is fully automatic.

Horizontal workpiece transport — processing from above
Horizontal processing allows single-person handling of heavy workpieces; height-adjustable supporting tables facilitate loading on both sides of the machine.

F4Integrate CNC software
F4Integrate includes tool library (F4Toolbox), CAM/CAD programming (F4Create) and machine operation (F4Operate) within a single interface. Based on G-code for easy integration and program transfer.

Toolchanger and tooling
The 17-position linear toolchanger accommodates a wide variety of tools and up to 4 aggregates to ensure short tool change times.

Spindle — technical notes
Available motor powers: 9 kW and 12 kW; speeds up to 24,000 rpm. Motor mounted on Z axis with inverter control. Dual linear guides and ground ball screws ensure precise Z-axis positioning. Automatic HSK F63 tool clamping with sensor verification and pneumatic toolholder cleaning. Optional C-axis (interpolating 360°) with compressed air interface available.

Individual drill head configurations (options)
Choose drilling heads to match production needs:

• DH17: 11 vertical spindles, 6 horizontal spindles, 1 grooving saw blade in X
• DH25: 17 vertical spindles, 8 horizontal spindles, 1 grooving saw blade in X
