Overview
The profit H80I CNC machining centre by FORMAT4 is designed for panel processing in furniture and joinery production, combining cutting, drilling and milling in one pass. The machine supports nested production workflows and can be integrated with loading/unloading and automation modules to scale from standalone operation to fully automated cells.

Spindle
Milling spindle available with motor power options of 10, 12 or 15 kW (series dependent) and speeds up to 24,000 rpm. Motor is inverter-controlled and mounted on the Z-axis drilling head support. Dual linear guides and ground ball screws ensure precise vertical positioning. Tool interface: automatic HSK F63 clamping with sensor checks and pneumatic cleaning.

The C-axis
Optional interpolating fourth axis (360°) with compressed air interface for aggregates, available for complex machining and indexable operations.

Individual drill head configuration
Drilling head options include vertical spindles only or combinations with a grooving saw for vertical and horizontal processing. Drilling head motors are inverter-controlled up to 7,500 rpm.

Automatic measuring system of the tool length
Automatic tool length measurement stores each tool length in the database with 0.01 mm accuracy to simplify tool management and reduce setup time.

Perfect nesting with the matrix table
The phenolic resin vacuum matrix table provides full panel support and exact positioning for nesting. Optional upgrade to a 30 x 30 mm high-flow matrix improves hold-down for small or complex shapes.

Smart Zoning
Smart Zoning enables quick processing of multiple panel formats and reduces changeover time to increase throughput and flexibility.

Vacuum pods
Support for vacuum block pods increases versatility for a wide range of part sizes and shapes.

Fence options

Height adjustable tool changer (including cover)
Height-adjustable linear tool changer on the machine base protects tool sockets, speeds tool changes and can hold up to 12 tools and 3 units with protective cover.
