Product overviewThe HMX series by Gefran are pressure transmitters designed for melt/high-temperature pressure measurement (media temperatures up to 400 °C). They are intended for large fixed installations, stationary industrial equipment (e.g. extruders) and R&D laboratory tools. The instrument uses a fluid-filled hydraulic transmission to ensure temperature stability and a strain-gauge (Wheatstone bridge) sensor to convert pressure into an electrical signal. HART communication is available and multiple hazardous-area approvals can be supplied depending on configuration.
