The ILW series are pressure transmitters for high-temperature processes, featuring diathermic oil filling, IO-Link digital output and Functional Safety approvals (PLd / SIL2). Designed for Industry 4.0 integration and melt/oil applications.

Description
The ILW Performance Level 'd'/SIL2 transmitters use hydraulic transmission of pressure to a sensing element and provide an IO-Link digital interface for measurement data, diagnostics and auxiliary information. The mercury-free oil filling enables operation at process temperatures up to 315°C. Available accuracy classes and mechanical options make the series suitable for demanding industrial and safety-related applications.

Additional technical details and behaviour
The ILW series is engineered for melt and other high-temperature applications by using hydraulic (oil-filled) transmission to protect the sensing element from extreme process temperatures. IO-Link provides bidirectional digital communication for process values, device parameters and diagnostic/auxiliary data to support predictive maintenance and reduce downtime. The mercury-free design meets current environmental and safety requirements.
