Product overview The Geovent non-return valve is an ATEX-certified safety device designed to prevent explosion propagation in industrial duct systems. The internal flap closes mechanically during an explosion pressure wave to isolate the affected section. The valve operates without power, sensors or electronic components, is virtually maintenance-free, and is suitable for indoor and outdoor installation in horizontal ducts handling organic or non-metallic dust (St1). It is available in diameters Ø200–600 mm and minimizes pressure loss during normal operation.

Product information Constructed from 16MO3 steel and fitted with a HARDOX HB400 closing flap, the valve is powder coated RAL 3020 (red) for corrosion protection. It is certified for ATEX zones 20, 21 and 22 and intended for systems handling organic and non-metallic dust (St1). Installation is done via welded FA flanges; no power supply is required. Accessories include position sensors, dust level indicators and a remote unlocking system for valves installed in hard-to-reach locations.
