Description

Product summary
The LEX/MEX ATEX fans are high-efficiency centrifugal fans engineered for safe ventilation in ATEX zones 1 and 2/22. They feature backward-curved, self-cleaning impellers and are available in fully galvanised steel or acid-proof stainless steel (AISI 316L) for highly corrosive environments. Suitable for industrial processes, gas ships, oil rigs and other offshore installations. Compatible with frequency inverters for energy-efficient speed control depending on ATEX zone and motor type.

What do you get?
  • ATEX-compliant centrifugal fan for safe operation in zones 1 and 2/22.
  • High-efficiency, backward-curved impellers for optimal airflow.
  • Option in AISI 316L acid-proof stainless steel for corrosive atmospheres.
  • Compatible with frequency inverters for precise speed control.
  • Fully galvanised construction with vibration absorbers and outlet bracket as standard.
  • Suitable for process and comfort ventilation in explosive atmospheres.
  • Designed for integration with Geovent automatics.

Product information
The LEX/MEX ATEX fans are manufactured in accordance with ATEX directive 2014/34/EU and incorporate measures to prevent static electricity and sparks at the inlet. The casing is fully galvanised and fitted with a protective grill, vibration absorbers and an outlet bracket as standard. For aggressive extractions the fan can be supplied in AISI 316L acid-proof stainless steel to resist corrosive fumes. The energy-efficient design and backward-curved, self-cleaning impellers make these fans suitable for both individual extraction units and larger central extraction systems.
