Description

Overview
Plastic Fans (LPV, MPV) are acid-proof fans designed for extracting gases and fumes from highly corrosive environments such as laboratory fume hoods, battery rooms, washers, and chemical processes. Constructed from polypropylene and antistatic polyethylene (PE-el), they provide corrosion-resistant ventilation. Available with ATEX certification for Zone 2/22 compliance for hazardous-area applications.

What do you get?
  • Acid-proof construction to resist corrosion
  • Suitable for highly corrosive environments: labs, battery rooms, washers, chemical processes
  • Antistatic polyethylene (PE-el) housing for enhanced chemical resistance
  • Polypropylene (PP) wheel with backward-curved blades for efficient airflow
  • Airflow up to 6,750 m³/h and static pressure up to 1,700 Pa (see technical table for max values)
  • Direct-drive asynchronous motor with multiple voltage options
  • Optional ATEX certification for Zone 2/22

Product information
Geovent Plastic Fans (types LPV and MPV) are engineered for extraction of gases and fumes from highly corrosive processes. The housing is moulded in antistatic PE-el and the wheel is polypropylene with backward-curved blades to optimise airflow and efficiency. Standard motor configuration is direct-drive asynchronous 3-phase (3×400 V 50Hz); 1×230 V 50Hz is available as an option. Motor console is powder-coated sheet metal; fasteners are stainless steel for corrosion resistance. Standard delivery is in RD0 configuration. Suitable for air temperatures up to 70°C.
