Product information
The LEX/MEX ATEX fans are high-performance centrifugal fans built with backward-curved, self-cleaning impellers that provide optimal airflow while minimising maintenance. The energy-efficient design supports speed control via a frequency inverter depending on the ATEX zone and motor type, reducing power consumption and operational costs. Manufactured according to the ATEX directive 2014/34/EU, the fans include protection against static electricity and sparks in the inlet. The fully galvanised housing features a protective grill, vibration absorbers, and an outlet bracket as standard.

For highly aggressive extractions, the LEX/MEX fans are available in acid-proof stainless steel (AISI 316L), making them resistant to corrosive fumes. Typical applications include chemical processing, battery charging stations, offshore installations such as gas ships and oil rigs. The fans deliver airflow up to 18,000 m³/h, making them suitable for both process and comfort ventilation in hazardous environments.
