Product description
The netX network controller with its 32-bit ARM core provides the processing resources and peripheral interfaces required for single-chip solutions in price-sensitive industrial applications. Network protocols and the application share netX resources and execute in a real-time operating system.

Development and debugging
The most economical and practical way to evaluate the complete system is the netX software development board. The board features universal hardware, an integrated debug interface and is delivered with the HiTOP development environment from Hitex. You can load your application onto the board, run it with available protocol stacks and combine it with the licence-free rcX Real-Time Kernel for testing.
HiTOP includes an integrated GNU compiler and provides a comprehensive development and debug environment; code development is unlimited, while hardware testing requires the development board. The complete circuit diagram is supplied (excluding the debug interface) as a basis for custom hardware development. The board's JTAG interface allows connection of external debug tools (e.g. Hitex Tantino) for development and testing with the same user interface and functionality as the evaluation board.
