The netX network controller with its 32-bit / 200-MHz ARM CPU delivers significant compute performance and extensive peripheral functions for single-chip solutions in cost-sensitive industrial applications. Network protocol stacks and the application share netX resources and run under a real-time operating system. The most straightforward and economical way to evaluate the entire system is the netX software development board. The board provides universal evaluation hardware, an integrated debug interface and is delivered with the HiTOP development environment from Hitex. You can load your application on the board, run it with protocol stacks and combine it, for example, with the licence-free rcX Real-Time Kernel. HiTOP with the integrated GNU compiler provides a comfortable development and debugging environment. For hardware development, the complete circuit diagram (except the debug interface) is provided. Via the board's JTAG interface you can connect an external JTAG debugger and develop or test with the same user interface and functionality as on the development board.
