The dehydration reactor is a multipurpose apparatus that combines chemical reaction, dehydration by membrane and simple distillation in a single unit. It integrates a zeolite dehydration membrane and a removable stainless steel basket for catalyst, enabling solvent-free water removal and streamlined separation workflows.

Function
For mixtures where two compounds have similar boiling points and one component is an alcohol, aldehyde or related functional group, the unit enables in situ conversion (for example esterification or acetalization) followed by membrane dehydration and subsequent simple distillation to effect separation.
